Hi John, coincidentally we're currently discussing a license
based on the Perl one. See http://oonumerics.org/blitz/legal/
for the blitz version of this. Would this license be compatible
with Debian/RedHat? The only stickler might be the bit about
not charging a fee without written permission, but I'd be
happy to give that to Debian.

The only reason I've been trying to track downloads of blitz
is that having a known, substantial user base makes it easier
to secure funding and get papers accepted. But having blitz
distributed with debian would probably only help in that
regard (although getting usage statistics would be harder).
If you are willing to package it up, I'd be grateful.
