Blitz Support :

Hi,

I thought I should jump in here and mention that I have previously developed
some project files compatible with VS .NET 2003 for building the blitz
library and the testsuite codes. I am attaching my set of project files in
a zip file with this e-mail. I am also attaching the version of the
config.h file that I used. I had planned to add these things to the blitz
cvs repository in the near future, but I wanted to wait until the 2003
compiler was available and others could test-drive my project files. Please
give this stuff a try and let me know if it does what you expect, and then I
can add it to the repository. One thing I haven't worked out yet is how to
use environment variables in Windows. It would maske sense to require users
to set some BLITZ_DIR environment variable to indicate the installed
location of blitz and then have the project files reference this location
for the include file and library search paths. As my project files were
written, they assume that the source files are installed in an adjacent
sibling directory. Using relative paths is not the ideal solution. Anyway,
let me know what you think of this.

Thanks, Julian C.

Subject: [Blitz-support] Great - blitz++ finally works under visual c++ 2003

Fantastic!! I managed to compile some example files with the new visual
c++ 2003 compiler !!!

I only had to switch on some settings in config.h ...
Complex math makes some troubles, the compiler cannot resolve between 5
different versions of abs, but probably it's only a small problem.
