Hello,
I'm writing a finite difference elastic wave propagation code. I would
like to define a region of interest in my calculations, so that I am not
wasting time in the portions of the model that cannot be anything other
than zero due to their distance from the source. For instance, on the
first time step using a 4 point stencil, there can't possibly be
anything 100 grid nodes away from the source.
What I would like to do is use redirection in the stencil operator. Is
this possible? Otherwise I will be stuck using rectangular regions and
array references.
Thanks.
