Todd Veldhuizen described the Barton-Nackman trick for
getting around
the virtual dispatch problem in one level inheritance.

He notes that "making your inheritance tree more than
one level deep requires some thought, but is
possible."

Can anybody share an example of the Barton-Nackman
trick for two-level inheritance?
