Just tried out the 3.3a version of KAI C++ under Solaris. It
compiles quite a bit faster than 3.2e at +K0 (about 85% faster for
the tests I did). Of course your kilometrage may vary.
I wasn't able to do timings at +K3 because 3.3a is crashing
regularly. I'm not sure if this is a Solaris problem only, or
if it's a problem for other platforms too. I've sent
in a bug report.
