Then I suggest a BSD-ish license. I agree that its a boring detail, but we
can't use Blitz even in prototype since that code may eventually be used in
a quasi-for-profit way. (its complicated -- we are required to sell our
software as a condition of our funding, even though we virtually give it
away). It also means that I can do some serious work on Blitz since its
technically project related.
If no free software lawyers are motivated I can put a proposal for a license
together.
