Sounds great. Please do. I'd be happy to throw out my bzconfig
script in favour of a c++ aware autoconf. One small note: discard
the tempstat.cpp test, it turns out this behaviour is not guaranteed
by the standard.
Offhand I can't think of any compilers which compile but fail a
test.
