Hi Roscoe,
I'm interested in your paper. I was unable to download it. Can you
summarize what is new about your algorithm for solving nonlinear
global optimization problems? The thing on which I have been working
lately is how to get sharp bounds on the range of a function over
a large box, without a lot of splitting. Any ideas?
What does the OO paradigm buy you?
We will be shipping intrinsic interval support for Fortran 95 in may
and a C++ class in our next release, by the end of CY2000. Then
comes intrinsic support in C++, C and Java :)
Regards,
Bill
