Computer Science Colleges in Nebraska

Nebraska isn’t exactly known as a place to study programming. Most people associate the state with corn, beef or football. Those associations aren’t too far off as more students study agriculture or agricultural operations that they do in other states. Many other students pursue business degrees.

Only around 10 percent of graduates in the state have a degree in engineering and only a tiny fraction of those are computer science majors. But Nebraska does have several schools to choose from for students that want a degree in computer science.

The University of Nebraska at Lincoln and the University of Nebraska at Omaha are by far the largest computer science schools in the state. They produce the majority of computer science graduates every year.
