KAI C++. Accept no substitutes.

This has been brought up with them a number of times. If you (and
others here) where to bring it up with them I'm sure they would be
interested in the feedback on the potential market.

I haven't heard them say this, but I think historically it has been hard
to get people to pay for software on linux. An indication of a
willingness to pay for things will help get companies to write software
for any environment.

I've seen advertizements for Comeau C++ (www.comeaucomputing.com, I
believe) which is available for linux and which runs off of what appears
to be a very recent version of the EDG front end just like KAI.
Presumably they don't do the same sort of fancy optimizations as KAI but
the language support should be similar.
