The Advanced Computational Testing and Simulation (ACTS) Toolkit
project is part of the DOE 2000 Initiative, supported by the
Mathematical, Information and Computational Sciences (MICS) Division
in the Office of Computing and Technology Research, Office of Energy
Research, U.S. Department of Energy. The project aims to integrate
and further develop software tools that support high-performance
scientific applications relevant to DOE's missions. Components
include frameworks that accelerate application program development,
numerical solvers of many kinds, dynamic load balancing mechanisms,
run-time support for high-performance platforms, and support for
complex geometries.
Applications are solicited for proposals to contribute to the ACTS
Toolkit development in FY 98 and beyond. Academic and industrial
scientists may seek further information at:
