Hey, now you have a nice project environment on UNIX like Borland et al have
had on the PC for four or five years! The latest compiler from Microsoft
lets you change a line in the debugger and continue the run (with the
changes now in effect) without stopping the debugger and doing a full
recompilation. Nice.
Now if we could get the reverse to happen: most of the compilers with the
best build and team project features have horrible support for full ANSI
Standard C++, notably the templates. I have to congratulate IBM for having
some of the strictest and up to date compilers around, and now a better
project environment.
