Hi,
If you are looking for subroutine for finding algorithms there are tons of
them available for free on the internet. The government labs all have tons
of stuff like that. I think the official repository is at Oak Ridge I think
the websites of the labs go by their initials: ornl.gov for Oak Ridge,
lanl.gov for Los Alamos, etc. If you have a specific matrix, or just a few
that you need eigen info on you should try MathCad. There is a wonderful C++
math library called M++ put out by a company call Dyad. The company was sold
a year ago so things may have changed. Also IMSL (renamed Visual Numerics)
has a small C++ library as well as their industry standard FORTRAN and C
libraries. Finally, Rouge Wave has a good C++ library, although neither RW
or VN is as complete as M++ (with all its addons)
