Scientific Programming, an international journal published by IOS Press,
invites submission of papers focusing on all aspects of programming for
scientific applications. The journal provides a meeting ground for research in,
and practical experience with, software engineering environments, tools,
languages, and models of computation aimed specifically at supporting
scientific and engineering computing. Scientific Programming brings together
in one place developments that are found in a wide variety of journals,
conference proceedings and informal society journals.
Scientific Programming publishes papers on language, compiler and programming
environment issues for broadly understood scientific computing. Of particular
interest are contribution to programming and software engineering for high
performance computing, processing very large data sets, supercomputing,
visualization and parallel computing over the Internet. All languages used in
scientific programming, like Fortran/F90, C/C++, Java and their descendants,
as well as scientific programming libraries, such as PVM, MPI, BSP, LogP,
Matlab are within the scope of the journal.
The journal is aimed at scientific and for engineering programmers and
researchers interested in: language design and software engineering issues;
software tools and environments for scientific computing; compilers for
scientific languages.
Abstracted / Indexed in: Compendex Plus, INSPEC Database
