        This is not correct, several compiler vendors are working on it (It seems
        like a realy hard problem). Edg said that export support for their C++ front
        end (which is used by several compilers e.g. KAI, Comeo, Intel...) should be
        out in a few months.

That is good news. Things have certainly improved then, since I was last talking
to vendors (~ 1 yr ago, i guess). I should have checked current status before being
so negative :)
